摘要内容:To expand the raw material range for Ganoderma lingzhi production, this study explored the feasibility of maize stalk (MS) as a sawdust substitute and clarifed the mechanism of MS utilization by G. lingzhi. 6 groups of culture substrates with different MS proportions were designed for G. lingzhi cultivation. The optimal formula was screened by analyzing agronomic traits, main bioactive substance contents, and targeted amino acid metabolic profles. Lignocellulose content and enzyme activity at diferent growth stages of G. lingzhi were detected to investigate substrate utilization patterns. Results showed that the Y1 formula (60.8% sawdust + 15.2% MS) exhibited signifcantly superior agronomic traits and higher triterpene/ sterol contents compared to other formulations, with the highest EAA/(EAA + NEAA) and EAA/NEAA ratios. G. lingzhi primarily consumes and utilizes cellulose; excessive MS addition reduced lignin and cellulose contents, leading to decreased cellulase activity and ultimately lower yields. Thus, an appropriate amount of MS can replace traditional sawdust substrates, and this study provides data support for the development of MS-based culture media for G. lingzhi.
